Dimensions are in millimetres and are taken from the current drawing for each model. Before ordering, ask us for the drawing of the exact model so the mounting dimensions are checked against your frame — the table is for selection, the drawing is what we build to.
Where this cylinder is used
Selection is driven by the duty cycle, not the catalogue. Tell us the load, the stroke you need and how many cycles per day — those three numbers decide the series and often the port configuration.

Questions buyers ask before ordering
- Which cylinder positions are covered?
- Six positions across the packer cycle: L slide (5.5 in bore, 37 in stroke), M slide (5 in bore, 32.5 in stroke), L sweep and packer (4.5 in bore, 22.75 in stroke), M sweep and packer (5 in bore, 25.62 in stroke) and two 4 in packer cylinders at 18.37 in stroke.
- How do I identify which cylinder my truck needs?
- By position and by the bore/stroke stamped or measured on the existing unit. Refuse bodies differ between manufacturers even within the same model year, so the position on the body is a more reliable identifier than the truck model.
- Why do the packer cylinders use a smaller bore?
- Packer strokes are short and the force requirement is lower than on the slide, so a 4 in bore at 18.37 in stroke does the job in less space. Using a larger bore there would add weight without adding useful force.
- What rod diameters are used?
- 2.5 in on the 4 in and 4.5 in bore cylinders, and 4 in on the M slide cylinder. The heavier rod on the slide resists buckling over the longer 32.5 in stroke.
