Dimensions are in millimetres and are taken from the current drawing for each model. Before ordering, ask us for the drawing of the exact model so the mounting dimensions are checked against your frame — the table is for selection, the drawing is what we build to.

Where this cylinder is used

Selection is driven by the duty cycle, not the catalogue. Tell us the load, the stroke you need and how many cycles per day — those three numbers decide the series and often the port configuration.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

How do I read the model number, for example HC-520?
The first digit is bore in inches and the last two are stroke in inches: HC-520 is a 5 inch bore with a 20 inch stroke. That is why capacity jumps between models of the same stroke but different bore.
What body length does each model suit?
Body length runs from 30.8 in on HC-310 to 69 in on HC-630, and it is quoted per model rather than as a range per bore. Matching body length matters more than matching capacity, because the hoist geometry has to sit within the frame.
How much does the unit weigh?
171 lbs for HC-310 up to 659 lbs for HC-630. The weight roughly doubles between the 3 inch and 6 inch bore groups, which matters when the hoist is added to an existing chassis.
What is mounting height and why is it listed?
It is the height the hoist occupies when fully collapsed, from 4 in to 5.56 in across the range. If your subframe clearance is tight, this figure decides whether the body sits flat.
